Somewhat good group of Christians with generally good children's program. The sermons and music could be better. They usually and regularly make very bad decisions concerning allowing others to take over the services from outside of town who are not involved in the local body whatsoever. Only a small number of people are allowed to have input here which is not Scriptural.

The sermon titles are lousy and usually begin with the words "What is...." which doesn't push a teacher into preparing a decent sermon. Instead one will hear definitions and personal commentary. A better way to prepare a sermon would be to dig and focus and combine multiple scripture sources and title the sermon with words such as: "How to.. " or other "action" type of sermon titles rather than something that just lays there "What is.." The "teachers" don't stick enough to preaching from scripture but spend some time giving their own thoughts.

Along with most other "churches" Eagles View teachers pick and choose and use a huge number of corrupted modern Bible translations in their quotes. They even use the incredibly awful "The Message" and other terrible translations. The corrupt Vatican influenced modern translations, such as ESV, Message, NIV etc. make Jesus sound like He lied to his brothers when they asked Him if He would go up to Jerusalem (John chapter 7:8-10). Jesus had to remain sinless to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins. It is telling that the modern translations want to make Jesus out to be a sinner / liar when they translate from Vatican picked manuscripts. Stick with the KJV which is accurate.

Many if not all the translations which Eagle's View quotes from remove the word "YET" out of scripture In John 7 where Jesus is talking with his brothers. This is only one of 1,000's of subtle twists in these translations. Compare John chapter 7 (KJV) to modern versions in the seats at whatever "church" you attend and you'll be shocked. Also: compare Luke 23:42, 1 Cor. 1:18, Mark 10:24, Acts 3:26 to KJV. Once you figure this out you will want to to demand the teachers stop using them.

For more on twisted scripture in modern Bible translations, there's quite a number of short videos on youtube in the "Dave Flang" channel to pick from that focus on small bits of scripture at a time.
