  I would recommend caution if attending "One Life" due to this group
  following Bill Hybels and Rick Warren's teachings and more importantly using Bible Translations that change God's Word.
  
  They often use the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible. At a minimum, that indicates that they are lacking discernment.
  
  The ESV, like most other modern Bibles, makes Jesus sound like He lied in John 7:8-10 when Jesus spoke to His brothers. This is only one of thousands of subtle twists additions and subtractions of God's Word. We are warned in scripture not to add or take away from God's Word and I believe one that continues to knowingly promote and preach from a clearly doctored translation will be judged for that decision as well.
  
  Someone may ask: Why is this point so important? It's important for Jesus had to remain sinless to be a perfect sacrifice for our sins. It's interesting to note that almost all modern translations want to make Jesus out to be a sinner and liar when they translate from Vatican picked manuscripts which have been found to "NOT BE" the oldest and best
  but in fact were written in 1400's and 1800's. Christians have been lied to.
  Stick with the KJV, that's the version "they" want thrown out for a reason.
  It's accurate!
  
  Compare John chapter 7 (KJV) to modern versions in the seats at
  whatever "church" you attend and you'll be shocked. Also: Please compare Luke 23:42, 1 Cor. 1:18, Mark 10:24, Acts 3:26 to KJV. Once you figure this out you will want to to demand the teachers stop using them. Note: NIV gets worse every new edition that comes out.
  
  For more information on problems with modern Bibles I recommend watching short video's on the subject focusing on small sections of scripture. Find these videos in the "Dave Flang" Youtube channel.
